چکیده

We show that the particle number density derived from the thermodynamic Green’s function at temperature zero constructed in the second part of this series has a jump across the Fermi curve, a basic property of a Fermi liquid. We further show that the two particle thermodynamic Green’s function at temperature zero has the regularity behavior expected in a Fermi liquid. ∗ Research supported in part by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada and the Forschungsinstitut für Mathematik, ETH Zürich

47 v 1 2 1 Se p 20 02 A Two Dimensional Fermi Liquid Part 1 : Overview

In a series of ten papers, of which this is the first, we prove that the temperature zero renormalized perturbation expansions of a class of interacting many– fermion models in two space dimensions have nonzero radius of convergence. The models have “asymmetric” Fermi surfaces and short range interactions. One consequence of the convergence of the perturbation expansions is the existence of a d...

Abstract. For a two dimensional, weakly coupled system of fermions at temperature zero, one principal ingredient used to control the composition of the associated renormalization group maps is the careful counting of the number of quartets of sectors that are consistent with conservation of momentum. A similar counting argument is made to show that particleparticle ladders are irrelevant in the...

This paper is concerned with the weak-moment magnetism in heavy-fermion materials and its relation to the non-Fermi liquid physics observed near the transition to the Fermi liquid. We explore the hypothesis that the primary fluctuations responsible for the non-Fermi liquid physics are those associated with the destruction of the large Fermi surface of the Fermi liquid. Magnetism is suggested to...

Fe b 20 02 Comment on “ Exact Spectral Functions of a Non Fermi Liquid in 1 Dimension

We point out the incorrect statement of the recent manuscript by K. Penc and B. S. Shastry. In a recent manuscript [1] K. Penc and B. S. Shastry wrote in the first paragraph: “Schulz and Shastry [2] have introduced a new class of gauge-coupled one-dimensional (1D) Fermi systems that are non Fermi liquid in the sense that the momentum distribution function has a cusp at the Fermi momentum kF rat...

Multiband One-Dimensional Electronic Structure and Spectroscopic Signature of Tomonaga-Luttinger Liquid Behavior in K_{2}Cr_{3}As_{3}.

We present angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy measurements of the quasi-one-dimensional superconductor K_{2}Cr_{3}As_{3}. We find that the Fermi surface contains two Fermi surface sheets, with linearly dispersing bands not displaying any significant band renormalizations. The one-dimensional band dispersions display a suppression of spectral intensity approaching the Fermi level accordin...
